This post is in response to negative comments posted at earlier times. This is a website to inform teenagers of the Republican platform and the political process. This is NOT a site for liberals to display negative posts bashing our party or our candidates. It is not just negative to our party, but it is negative to all of our members, who are all 13-19 year olds with an interest in the political process and the conservative cause.
Republicans are dedicated to making the American family strong again by creating a smaller, limited government, lowering taxes, cutting wasteful government spending, and improving our quality of life by supporting family values and enhancing our infrastructure and our school systems. In your post, you acussed Republicans as being "close-minded", Democrats are the "close-minded" ones such as being AGAINST off-shore drilling even though it will create thousands of jobs and lower gasoline prices, raising taxes on all incomes, and spending trillions of dollars in wasteful spending. Democrats continue to be the pesimists of this country where Republicans are the optimists and see this country as a "shining city on the hill". Democrats are the "close-minded" ones, not Republicans.
Your earlier post stated that you were supporting Barack Hussein Obama for president because your tired of the status quo in Washington. If you believe that Obama will bring about change then it is time for you to do your research. Barack Obama has NEVER voted against his party, he continues to support every Democratic agenda, in the Illinois state senate he was listed with over 60% of his votes as "present", he did not vote yes or no, the president of the United States does not get that choice. Obama is a power hungry person who puts his own self interests above the people of this country. Did you know that Barack Obama has written two, TWO books about HIMSELF but yet has NOT written a single piece of legislation in the US senate. Is that the type of person we want in the oval office? Barack Obama also has NO foreign policy experience, NO military experience, and NO executive experience. He has NEVER run a business, NEVER run a city, NEVER run a state, and has NEVER had to create and use a budget or tax system. If you are so naive to beleive that Barack Obama brings about change, you need to do your research. The only change that Obama will bring this country is change that will hurt our country.
John McCain has fought for this country his entire life in the military, as a POW, as a congressman, and as a senator. He has stood up against his party and the special interests his entire senate career and he will continue to do that as president.
The answer is clear as to who will make a better commander-in-chief. It is shameful that some people place negative posts on this website. There are plenty of liberal-minded sites to place your shameful and liberal ideas on but this is NOT the appropriate place. It is people like them that turn young people away from the politcal process.
